After backpacking through South East Asia for over 5 months, we had the chance to stay at Sheraton Tel Aviv for TBEX (Travel Blogging Exchange) in Israel for 3 nights.
To say that we were beyond excited to rest our heads on soft pillows was an understatement. We simply couldn’t help but to be delighted when we arrived in our Executive Room and saw a proper bed waiting for us.
You see, if you have been backpacking for a while, having a working hot shower is luxury, so you can probably imagine what felt like when we were offered special treatment and access to the Executive Lounge!
That is without mention of the amazing beach views we had in our room. From the 14th floor, the Mediterranean Sea really impress.
Sheraton Tel Aviv – Mediterranean Views
The Executive room we stayed was spacious and big enough for us to relax and get work done without us having to fight for a spot for ourselves. Wifi was as quick as we haven’t had since we left Australia or even better! What else a blogger could ask for?
Oh yes, food. Plenty of it, actually. Apart from being spoilt with dessert, fruits and a bottle of wine as a complimentary gift, we also could enjoy a delicious buffet style food spread at the Executive Lounge where we met up constantly with the other bloggers staying with us for a quick chat or afternoon drinks.
Breakfast was also to die for. With a plentiful selection of local delicacies such as shakshuka and pastries galore, Sheraton Tel Aviv didn’t disappoint with the healthy options either. From yoghurts to muesli, fruits to salad, it was all there. Plus, a little champagne too, because, why not?!
However, we could not emphasise just how important service is to us, no matter how big or small (simple or luxurious) the hotel is, service trumps it all. And Sheraton didn’t disappoint again. Henry, at reception made us feel specially welcomed and was extremely helpful even when we came up with some difficult requests.
The famous hotel chain also cares for the environment and does their bit offering points for guests who choose not to change towels during their stay and uses local amenities to pamper up their guests.
All in all, staying at Sheraton was such a treat and a lovely memory of our time in Tel Aviv. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our treatment and we look forward to coming back sometime soon to enjoy the amazing views we had from our room.
Thanks Sheraton Tel Aviv,
Larissa & Jean
